Liz Shields – Mentor
Liz provides support to apprentices, trainees and employers. She’s motivated by opportunities to help others find success.
“I have extensive experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds and take a collaborative approach. By helping individuals see their strengths, we work through their challenges and build strategies so they can move forward.”
Her career history includes working on the Salvo Care Line and in case management roles in employment services for both the not-for-profit and private sectors. In her most recent role, she supported young people to move into education, training and sustainable employment. She’s completed a Diploma in Community Services and also works a Crisis Supporter with Lifeline.
Employers she’s previously worked with include Stirling Skills Training, Communicare and Outcare.
