Skills CheckpointFree career planning for 45-54 year olds
The Apprenticeship Community is delivering the Skills Checkpoint Pilot in Western Australia.
The Skills Checkpoint Pilot is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training to provide career advice for paid employed (full-time, part time or casual) individuals between 45-54 who may require a career change in the future.
The service is aimed to assess where each individual is at in their careers and offer guidance if a change in career direction is needed or desired.
Older workers are a valuable asset to business for the skills and experience they offer. Skills Checkpoint provides participants with a personalised career plan which is tailored to meet their goals - depending on the participant, this plan may include a career and core skills profile, job market details, resume feedback and information on courses or training.
This pilot program is running until April 2016.
